Lifetime license purchases for those 15 years old or young can be made at agent locations or by working with the License Sales office (M-F, 8am-3:15pm, 518-402-8843).

When purchasing the license in person you must show proof of residency as well as proof of the child’s age if purchasing the lifetime with an age discount. Proof of a minor child’s residency must be proven through one of the child’s parents or their legal guardian. NYS residency proof cannot be from a child’s grandparent or other relative unless they are the legal guardian.
